1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ZITRAC website (zitrac.co.zw) and the services described on it. By using this site, requesting a quote, or engaging ZITRAC for any service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.

2. About ZITRAC

ZITRAC provides IT consulting, web and software development, Starlink WiFi installation, network troubleshooting and support, school information systems, point-of-sale systems, CCTV and surveillance installation, and e-learning system development, primarily serving businesses and schools in Zimbabwe.

3. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site (including the admin system), interfere with its normal operation, or use it to transmit harmful code.

4. Quotes, Pricing & Payment

Prices are not published on this website, as costs depend on the scope, site, and equipment involved in each job. All work begins only after a written quote has been provided and accepted. Quotes are estimates based on information available at the time and may be revised if the scope of work changes once a project is underway.

Payment terms (deposits, milestones, final payment) will be agreed in writing separately for each engagement and are not governed by these website Terms alone.

5. Service Delivery

Timelines communicated for installations, development work, or support are estimates. ZITRAC will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timeframes but is not liable for delays caused by factors outside its control, including but not limited to power outages, third-party equipment or courier delays, site access issues, or circumstances affecting the client's own infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, custom software, websites, and systems developed by ZITRAC for a client become the client's property upon full payment. ZITRAC retains the right to reuse general methods, frameworks, and non-confidential techniques developed during a project for other engagements. All content on this website (text, images, logos) remains the property of ZITRAC unless otherwise stated.

7. Limitation of Liability

ZITRAC will carry out services with reasonable skill and care. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, ZITRAC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit, data, or business opportunity) arising from the use of installed systems, software, or equipment, except where such loss results from ZITRAC's own negligence or breach of a written agreement.

8. Information You Provide

When you use the contact form, request a quote, or subscribe to updates, you provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, provide requested services, or send occasional updates if you've subscribed — it is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
